"Let's see what this place can show me," he said to himself and stalked to the closest door he could find. A creaking sound welcomed him into the biggest ballroom he had ever seen before. Mirrors reflected a Claude on every wall and the springy hardwood floors were a welcome change to the stone path outside. On the walls, he saw paintings of famous ballerinas, prancing about their frames, and showing off their abilities. "No need to be bigheaded, you are already up there for a reason," he told them as he crossed the room. My turn... he thought and kicked off his shoes. He ran across the room, deepening his plie as he accelerated. He shot off from the ground into a perfect splitleap. "Vapori!" he shouted as he reached his peak. Warm air formed underneath him, pressing him even higher off the ground and allowing him to sail further through the air. "I've still got it," he said as he landed in fifth position. He took a step and felt his back click awkwardly. "Oh... maybe I'm getting too old for these games."

When Claude was young, his older brother pushed him into the well in the field outside of their house. He was trapped in there, treading water for two hours before someone heard him screaming. From then on he had always been afraid of enclosed spaces and water masses. He can't even bathe, he HAS to shower. That's one of the reasons he likes libraries and dance studios. They are huge and open.

Claude has always liked birds. From a very young age, his father took him on birdwatching trips in the outskirts of the french countryside. Being extremely flighty on awkward situations also contributes to his patronus being an owl, but mostly it is because he is a wise man who won't think twice before imparting his wisdom and knowledge on others.

Lynette is Claude's older sister. When Claude was 12, his sister past away. She was suffering from chronic lung cancer. Not liking hospitals and healers, Claude never went to visit his sister, and she passed away without giving him a chance to say goodbye. More than anything in the world, Claude wants to see his sister again, tell her that he loves her and apologise for not being strong enough to be with her during her last days.

Claude has never attached any value to outward appearances. He keeps himself in shape mainly because he wants to stay healthy. He doesn't want people to like him because he is attractive. Losing his youthful looks taught him how to appreciate the more permanent things in life. Most mature ladies find him attractive, but he would rather spend time with them to show them what more he has to offer. He likes his eyes though. They personify his personality perfectly. They are kind, intriguing and most of all welcoming. He tries to dress in a manner that is classy, not appealing.

Claude was born on the 13th of December, 1968 into a man and a woman who were strongly connected to nature. His father was a hypogriff breeder, but was forced to retire after an injury that almost severed his right hand. His mother was a magical florist. She made bouquets out of plants with different magical abilities, to create interesting combinations of floral arrangements. Some of them were for medical remedies, others could hypnotize the one who smells it.
Claude attended Beauxbatons academy of magic and graduated the top of his year. He was always a teacher's pet and wouldn't think twice to knock on an office door for extra lessons. He studied divination after school in Russia, to become a divinations teacher at his old school. He moved back to France into a tiny cottage at the age of 38. He wanted to be completely independent from his family and their wealth.
For a few years, he lived in poverty in that cottage with nobody to talk to but himself. After being dragged to the quidditch cup finals by his brother, he realised how he missed being amongst other people. He decided to apply for a job at Beauxbatons and further study the more intricate art of Legilimency. Claude vowed to himself that he would be more open to relationships, both friendly and romantically, as he feels it is time to start a family.
