When Martin was three, his father hit his mother for the first time. From then on, he just became more and more aggressive. He started drinking more regularly and became more abusive. He decided to go to Beauxbatons, even though he lives in England, exactly for that reason. He wanted to escape from his father. He constantly feels guilty that he left his mother alone with him, but he didn't know of better.

Martin is a sweet boy, but when he gets angered he becomes extremely aggressive like his father. He hates this about himself, and is trying everything in his power to change this. When he saw his patronus for the first time, he fell into a deep depression because he saw it as an angry animal. But after a few sessions of talking about this with a professor, he came to the conclusion that he is more like a protector. When someone hurts a person he cares about, he would protect them like a lioness protects her cubs.

Martin hates the fact that he left his parents to come to beauxbatons. He wants to go back home and live with them again. He is now big enough to stand up against his father when he tries to hurt them. He tried to apply to Hogwarts but they didn't accept his application, mainly because the syllabus differs so greatly. He is forced to stay at Beauxbatons until he graduates. His biggest dream though, is to return home into the loving arms of his mother.

His blue eyes are actually quite stunning but he feels it is just one big cliche. Others find him quite attractive, but he finds himself repulsive.

Martin was born in London, England. He loved his mother more than anything in the world. She was a housewife, and took care of him during the day. His father was an accountant, but he lost his job when Martin was three. He became very drunk that evening and hit his wife and son around. Martin had never been so afraid in his life.

When Martin grew older, he received a letter informing him that he was invited to go to a magical school, Hogwarts. He found the school too close and decided to go to a french school instead, Beauxbatons. He wasn't really shocked by this information that he was a wizard. He had once caused his father's hands to start bleeding uncontrollably when he attacked his mother.

When Martin arrived at Beauxbatons, he was extremely lonely. He did not speak a single word of French and needed to make friends with someone who could translate what people said. This never happened though... Martin decided to stop trying to make friends, and concentrate on his education. His aim is to become a very powerful wizard and take his father on, once he returns home after his graduation.
