Avenue De Magie was such an interesting place. Even though Caprice had spent years in France, and as part of the magical world she still wasn't quite used to everything here. It was a beautiful place filled with magical artifacts and interesting witches and wizards as far as the eye could see. It was hard for Caprice to picture that Avenue De Magie was nestled in the middle of a Muggle city, she knew it was, but honestly, wandering through the avenue just made it impossible for her to imagine. She felt as though she could have been another world right now, and in some respects she was, she'd never be able to be herself, to be as bold in the Muggle world, she'd constantly be watching over her shoulder for her father's former associates.
Just as Caprice was sufficiently happy with these facts she saw the man. A tall, fat man with dark hair, he was the mirror image of a figure from her youth. A man she used to call Uncle Sergio. This supposed uncle was the first person to fire a shot at her father, and seeing him here terrorfied her. He was dressed in robes, is it possible that Sergio was a wizard all this time? Caprice was horrified. Nowhere was safe! Maybe Sergio wouldn't recognize her. But she couldn't risk it. She ran into a clothing store, snatching the first item of clothing she could get her hands on, and rushing to the fitting room just to be sure. She peered outward through the tiny parting in the curtain to the window, he was approaching.
Caprice gasped fearfully as the man entered the store. She'd been spotted...No...Wait... This man spoke fluent French, accent and all... This wasn't her 'uncle' at all. Caprice felt like a complete idiot as she shook her head and started to walk from her hiding place, looking down, ashamed. Her shame only grew as she crashed into someone she hadn't seen. She looked up through momentarily surprised eyes. Oh! I'm sorry... |

Adéle was walking down the Avenue de Magie when she saw a clothing store that was exactly what she was looking for. She saw all of the different colored clothing in exactly the design she had been looking for. Adéle walked inside the store and grabbed a bunch of clothes that she thought were adorable and then went to a changing room. she tried on a cute pair of jeans that were ripped and a flowery shirt. ( Jeans shirt) She walked out of her room to see how it looked in the mirror when she crashed into someone. "Oh, it's alri-" she said, then saw who it was. "CAPY!" she said and hugged her. "Oh my god! I've missed you SO much!" |

Caprice looked up to meet the person she'd just crashed into... Adéle!? Her best friend? the odds of this had to be a million to one! She flung her arms around the girl and smiled brightly "Adéle!" Her friend was right there and it had left Cappa speachless for a moment. "I can't believe it's you Addy!" Caprice was excited, to think that over the entire holidays they'd traded letters and yet it till felt to Caprice that they wouldn't see eachother again for years, and now Adéle was standing right here, it made Caprice' heart skip a beat.
"You have no idea how much I've missed you! Come on, we should go grab something to eat and catch up."

Adéle laughed and pulled back from her and said, "but first, maybe we could continue shopping?" she took a glance in the dressing room she had just come out of. "Let's go pick something out for you!" she hugged her again, so happy that she saw her best friend again. She too thought that they wouldn't be able to see each other for the longest time, and it still felt like a lifetime had passed since the last time they had seen each other.

"Sure, why not. I need a few new clothes, all my muggle stuff is alright, but more more witchy clothes, now there's my problem." She said with a smile. She wanted to cover up the fact that she was hiding from a man that, as it turned out, wasn't even a threat. She started to scan the shelves high and low, walking around feeling like a kid in a candy store. "And now that I've got my animagus transformations down-packed, we should buy a cute colar for my dog form!" she said with a smile. She hadn't seen Adele in the longest time, nor had she been for a good shopping trip, this was gonna be a good day.

"A collar would be adorable, but I don't think we need to go shopping for it," Adéle said and pulled a bag out of her purse. "Here, I got you a 'congrats on your new dog' type of gift." she laughed and gave her a card that said, "Congrats on your new dog!"
Adéle quickly grabbed some cute outfits that she thought that Caprice would like, brought them to her and held them up for her to look at. "What do you think?" she asked. "Try them on!"

Cappa smiled looking at the collar. "I love it!" Once again she flung her arms around the girl, before watching her, and her incredible fashion sense walk about the store snatching up new articles of clothing. Caprice smiled. Without Adele to help her with outfits Caprice would probably just be a fashion reject. She took the clothing from her friend with a smile and made her way back to the change-rooms. "God I love you Addy. I really needed some new stuff and I'm so glad one of us has fashion sense. maybe I won't be so invisible to girls anymore." She said. She wasn't 100% sure how Addy felt about her sexuality but the other Italian knew it couldn't have been too bad given that they were so close. Cappa took the clothes walking into the the change room she'd just exited from. The first thing she would do was to clip the collar around her neck, and assume her canine form. Her tail wagged. the purple collar matched her ears. it looked great on her. Re-assuming human form took no more then a second as she unbuckled the collar and hung it on the nearby rack, trying on other various outfits, jeans, T-shirts, skirts and shorts, not to mension a few other tops. She loved it all and it all fit so well.
Emerging from the change room she smiled. "All of this stuff is great! Let's get out of here and catch up a bit." she said with a broad smile.

Adéle smiled and brought up the clothes to the front counter. "put it on my bill," she told the lady with a sweet smile, who nodded and put the clothing in a bag and handed it to her. "here you go!" Adéle said, handing the bag over to her. "alright where should we eat?" she asked. "anywhere at all...besides a hamburger joint." he being vegetarian, she hated seeing what people did to the porr innocent animals. killing them just so they can get something to eat? murderers!
Adéle hooked her arm into Cappy's as they walked down the avenue, waiting for her to recommend a place to eat.

Caprice felt guilty hearing Adele say this. She herself had eaten meat once or twice recently in her dog form. It wasn't very much but she was a dog, she wanted to experience what it was like to be a dog, and dogs ate meat. She wouldn't tell Adele, normally she was very open but this was something that she was worried might damage her friendship with the girl. Caprice sighed lightly under her breath instantly praying that Caprice didn't hear it, and bombard her with questions along the vein of 'what's wrong, Cappa?'
To be honest, I feel like icecream. It's been hot and I miss wizard icecream, the flavors bare just so much more amazing.

"Let's go!" Adéle said as she hooked her arm into hers and walked fast to the ice cream shop. honestly, she was happy that she said ice cream since she too was in the mood for some ice cream. they walked into the store and found a small table in front of the window. the room was somewhat crowded, only having a couple of people in there.
Adéle walked up to the counter and ordered a small mint ice cream cone and patiently waited in line for it. "Oh and can i have a cappuccino?" she asked, wanting something warm with her ice cream. odd mix, but she loved it. She received her cone and went to sit at the table.

Caprice, who'd gotten into line beside her friends, in fact, still with her arm linked to Adele's spoke as soon as Addy had finished. I'll small chocolate and pumpkin in a waffle cone, and a cappuccino too, extra sugar, please. Caprice said, needing to pause just the once to make sure her French was accurate. Cappa, taking her cone made her way back to the table. She loved the novelty of the wizarding ice cream flavors, they never got old, she couldn't get enough of the crazy things that wizards had come up with eating, they usually tasted pretty fantastic, and even the ones that didn't were too unique not to try more then once. Luckily chocolate and pumpkin ice cream fit into the former category better.
Caprice turned her attention back to Adele. How was your break Addy, did you do anything exciting?

"I just hung out with my dads!" Adéle said as she stopped some melted ice cream from running down the cone. "how about you? I bet you've done really fun things!" she saw a guy come over and bring her her cappuccino, but the odd thing was that the guy wasn't wearing a uniform.
Adéle pointed this out and asked the guy why, which he replied, "I just got off and since they're running behind, I thought I would deliver it." he smiled and walked away, out the door. she trusted the drink, wondering why she even wondered why she was so paranoid about it. she took a drink and felt something weird rush through her. she shook her head, thinking that the drink was probably just warming her up.

Caprice couldn't help but wonder where her own drink was, but she didn't mention it, there was probably just some minor hold-up or something, right? she didn't spare it another second of thought as she lapped up the thawing ice cream from the cone, savoring the delicious, icy cold sticky treat. All in all this was shaping up to be a good day, especially considering the way things had gotten just before Cappa met Adele in the clothing store, but now she was eating ice cream with her best friend who she'd missed worse then anything. This combination of friendship and desert was going to makes Caprice' day, if not her month, or so it seemed.
The woman who finally delivered Caprice' cup to Italian expressions of gratitude seemed a touch perplexed at why Addy already had her cup, but seemed to just dismiss it as she moved away. It was only then that Caprice noticed Addy's apparent discomfort. Are you okay, Addy?

Adéle out down her cup after finishing everything that was in it. "yea! i'm great! how are you?" she asked as she went back to her cone. she sat there for a while when she looked at Cappy. she had always known that she was gorgeous, but never knew that she was THAT beautiful. she stared at her for a while, strange feelings surround her and she knew that something was going on. she stood up and left, throwing her cone in the garbage.
Adéle saw an alley next to the store and went down it, putting her back to the wall and her head in her hands. she was so confused on what was going on. she had a strange feeling that she wanted to... to do something she's never done before.

Caprice didn't know what to do but to leave her food, her drink and her change on the counter of the store to pursue her best friend. She was acting so strangely. There was something going on here and it was making Caprice nervous. Was there something wrong with the food, was Addy having some kind of panic attack? it wasn't normal for her to be doing this. Caprice ran to the street. She saw no sign of Addy, but finally looked into the alley way where she saw her best friend.
She approached carefully, trying not to startle the girl in case she was having some form of anxiety issue. Her voice was calm, but her movements betrayed that, as she fidgeted nervously. Addy, what ever is happening, it's okay. you'll be fine...
