'It's really early...' ran through Pascaline's head multiple times and she tossed and turned in her dorm room. Why was she always awake so early? Even on days when she had no classes, she still couldn't help but get up. Sighing, she opened her eyes weakly and ran a hand through her hair, "No way I'm gonna fall back asleep..." she whispered, sitting up slowly. There was only one thing for her to do at this point. And that would be to go to the Grand Hall. There, she would be able to sit and eat without having anyone bother her. At least, that happened most of the time. Slipping into a random outfit, she stuck her wand into her pocket and hurried down to the Hall. Her stomach rumbling, Pascaline realized she really was hungry. Probably because she had been eating so early recently.
Stepping into the Grand Hall, the blonde was overtaken by the size of the room. Sure, she was there everyday. But she still wasn't used to it, even after the past six years. Rubbing her neck, she sat down at the Papillonlisse table. Grabbing a plate of waffles and a glass of milk, Pascaline was in a great mood. She hadn't had a dream about Thomas and Phoenix's dead bodies or anything for the past few nights, so things really were amazing. Shaking her head, her hair becoming a bit more messy than it already was, she cut off a piece of waffle and quickly ate it. For once, she was actually feeling quite lonely. Normally she was fine eating by herself, but now... She just wanted someone to talk with. Maybe to make a new friend, or whatever. A soft smile on her lips, she hummed a song to herself, wondering what to do until her class later that day.

Ava pulled her light pink sweater back on over her leotard and finished untying her pointe shoes. She had woken up early to go to one of her saterday morning private dance lessons she had arranged to take. It hadn't been that hard a class but she had worked up quite an appatite from it. She slipped out of the studio and walked gracefully to the grand hall.
The room was still empty for the most part. It was still rather early and on a weekend. She went up to the large table that offered breakfast food and took a plate. She had to be careful what she ate, low matabalism ran her family but she had such a sweet tooth. After a few moments of choosing she decided on a bowl of fruit salad and some scrambled eggs. She got the food and then went to find a place to sit.
She didn't really want to sit alone, although she didn't see anyone she knew either. She decided to sit close to an older girl from her house, but not close enough that she would have to talk to her. That way it would look like they were sitting together to anyone who was looking.
She put her plate down and flashed an awkward uncertain smile at the girl. Then pretended to be extreamly focused on a piece of fruit. If the girl wanted to talk to her that was fine but she was certainly not going to start the conversation.
Talking to people she didn't know well, even her peers made her uncomfortable. Although once she warmed up to them she was fine.

Sitting at the large table, Pascaline stared absentmindedly out one of the large windows across the hall. It probably would have been smarter for her to keep her eyes on her food, but she just didn't feel like it. Running a hand through her hair, she poured syrup onto her waffles. Taking a bite, she smiled. "Mmm... So good." she said quietly. She hadn't eaten waffles in ages, and the taste was still amazing. Closing her eyes, she quickly lost herself in thoughts. Memories of being in the Hall with Phoenix filled her mind quickly. She really hated thinking back to it, but she couldn't help but still love him. Rubbing her eyes slightly, she took a bite of her waffles again. She was so glad she didn't really have to worry about how much she ate.
Looking over, she spotted a younger girl sitting near her. She smiled lightly and nodded as a greeting. Looking back to her own meal, she sipped at her glass of milk, content with how the morning was going. On a normal morning, she wouldn't have been nearly as friendly so early. Running a hand through her hair again, she moved towards the apparently shy girl, "Good morning." she said, smiling. The poor thing was all alone, so she felt she needed to keep her company.

Ava jumped, although she had been expecting the girl to speak it still came as a surprise to her when she did. She blushed a deep red and hoped her startled reaction hadn't offended the girl. She was just very on edge.
"Hi" she said, and scooted a tiny bit closer so she could talk to the other girl. The girl must have been at least a year ahead of Ava, although she recognized her from the common room.
She sat awkwardly for a moment and then decided to try and start a conversation. "So, why are you up so early on a Saturday morning?" she asked, she had a good excuse but wondered what this girls was. If she hadn't had a lesson Ava would have slept untill at least ten if not later.
"Im Ava by the way" she added. Offering a small smile to the girl.

Keeping her smile on, Pascaline could tell the younger was only slightly expecting her to talk to her. Giggling slightly as the girl blushed, she figured it would be fun to talk to her. She seemed like a nice girl, just a bit shy, or something. Nothing that Pascaline hadn't dealt with before. Nodding as the shy girl responded to her greeting, she ran a hand through her messy hair. The blonde vividly recognized the girl, but she hadn't talked to her before. At least she finally was. That would be nice.
Taking a bite of her waffles, Pascaline nodded, "I just woke up early, you know?" she laughed softly, "I couldn't fall back asleep, so I came to get some food." it was a good conversation starter, from her point of view. It always worked. She would have been better at talking, of course, if it wasn't so early. Especially so early during the weekend. 'After this... I'm going back to sleep.' she thought, smiling to herself. "What about you?" she asked in response, pausing for a moment. "I'm Pascaline. You have a pretty name, by the way." Pascaline winked and took a sip of her milk. She really did like Ava's name.

Ava blushed a little embarassed. "I take private lessons with Madame Lecaire every Saterday morning" she explained. She didn't want the other girl to think she was a spoiled stuck up snob. "I started dancing when i was ten so i'm catching up" she explained.
She smiled at the complement. "Thanks" she said, "I really like yours too"
Picking at her food a bit more she tried to think of more to say. "Do you dance?" she asked. Not remembering seeing her in dance class. Although the school was huge and they were in different years so it was possible.
Ava was really bad at starting conversations with people she didn't know well. She felt like a loser. She wished she was the charasmatic kind of person who could just walk up to someone and instantly become their best friend. But it took her a while to warm up to people.

Pascaline nodded, understanding. "That's pretty cool." she told the younger girl. She loved to dance, even though she was terrible at it. One year she took the class, and practically failed it. "Do you like to dance?" she asked absentmindedly. If Ava had danced for that long, then she had to like it. Unless, of course, her parents made her take the lessons. Which she wouldn't be surprised about. That wasn't very common, but it still happened. Pascaline smiled as she sipped her milk. "Why thank you." sometimes, she really hated her name. It was long and not very common. But other times, she loved being the only one with her name.
Cutting off another piece of her waffle, Pascaline shrugged, "If by dance you mean look like a spazz, then yes. I dance. But not in the class." while she liked the class, it just wasn't for her. Besides, she was probably a day away from breaking a bone everytime she entered the class. And Pascaline had many other classes to take anyways. So it didn't bother her that she wasn't in dance anymore. Truthfully, Pascaline thought Ava was pretty good with conversations. She was better than some girls Pascaline knew in her year. Besides, she was fine with awkward conversations. It took her mind off any bad thoughts she could have.

Ava smiled, She loved talking about dance. She was kind of a loser like that. "Mhmm, its my passion" she gushed, then fell silent not wanting to bore the older girl.
She giggled, "It doesn't matter how you dance, Its more of a way to express yourself so you really can't do it wrong just differnently"
She decided to leave it at that. If the girl wanted to further discuss it she could bring it up, but this way ava wouldn't seem like a loser who only talked about one thing. "So what are you into then" she asked, trying to change the subject to the other girl for a moment. She hated talking about herself, She just always felt like she was to dull to discuss. She hoped she wasn't boring the girl.
