A soft smile made its way onto Bijou's face as she gazed out of the window that kept her captive from the outside world. Her fingertips grazed the warm glass, and she gasped when she saw a small rabbit dash from under a rose bush. The green grass was finally visible after that horrid snowfall that had somehow taken a tight grip on their castle and not wanted to let go. Bijou longed for those Spring walks she used to take by the seashore. She craved the sunlight that would warm her porcelain skin. But most of all, she craved those soft lips that had once met hers. She lost control of her thoughts, and soon she was thinking of Augustine, her dear Augustine. "You fancy him!" Her younger brother used to say. Bijou would deny everything, of course, but it was true. Every last bit was true. She wondered if he felt the same way about her. They were best friends, but she wanted to be something more. She wanted to hold him close, wanted to feel the warmth of his skin against hers. There was not one night that went by where she didn't wish he was hers and only hers. The problem was that wishing didn't always work, did it?

Bijou Labelle was born in Marseilles, France on a cold winter night to Richard Labelle and Adi Labelle (nee Monet). She was their second child, born after her older brother, Lance Labelle who was 4 years old at the time of her arrival. Being the only girl in the family comes with many rewards, as well as many consequences. She grew up being spoiled and given almost anything she wanted. Her father would call her "princesse." However, Bijou has always longed for a sister, someone whom she can play with and tell secrets to. She still hopes for some sort of "long lost sister" reunion.
Bijou was first introduced into the world of arts at the age of 4. Her mother signed her up for ballet classes. B didn't really understand why her mother would do such thing, but she soon took an interest and has never stopped dancing. Along with dance, she has also taken on singing classes. Her voice can sometimes be described as "an angel's dream."
Bijou was accepted into Beauxbaton at an early age. She left her family in Marseilles in order to pursue a higher education. She met her best guy friend, Augustine, at the age of 13. Bijou thought he was quite a looker when she first laid eyes on him, and deep down inside, she hopes their friendship turns into something more. They've kissed only once before, but it was at a friend's party and they were pretty drunk. Bijou has never forgotten the feeling of his lips, their softness and warmth, and maybe he hasn't forgotten hers. But for now, she must see him every day and hope for their friendship to evolve into what she's been dreaming of.
